Barcelona Airport is the second largest in Spain and one of the busiest in Europe. It is normal to wonder how to get to Sleep & Fly, the only hotel inside the Barcelona Airport. As in any large airport, an endless number of shops, offices, and services populate the corridors of its two terminals, so it is not always easy to find your way around. Even so, the Barcelona Airport signage is good.
To get to our hotel, located on the second floor of Terminal 1, you should follow the signs ‘Centro de Negocios’ or directly ‘Sleep&Fly’. The truth is that you can’t miss it, whether you arrive from outside the airport or from inside it.
How to get to Sleep & Fly from the outside:
—If you arrive in your vehicle: in the T1 car park, it is advisable to park in the E or F areas since these are the areas closest to the hotel. Once inside the terminal (2nd floor), follow the signs for ‘Centre de Negocis’ or directly ‘Sleep&Fly’. We are to the left of the terminal.
—If you come by taxi: please first tell the driver to take you to Terminal 1 of the Barcelona Airport, specifically to the Departures/Puente Aéreo area. There you will find a door with a large Sleep & Fly logo. Call the intercom, and we will open the door for you so that you can go down and access our facilities by taking the elevator in front of you.
—If you arrive by subway, bus, or train. When leaving the underground station or the bus stop, go to the Arrivals/Puente Aéreo area of Terminal 1, about two hundred meters away. From there, follow the signs for ‘Centro de Negocios’ or directly ‘Sleep&Fly’.
—If you arrive by AeroBus, get off at Terminal 1 of the Airport, in Arrivals. Walk to the Puente Aéreo (Air Shuttle) building. There you will see our ‘Sleep & Fly’ sign. Call the intercom and access our facilities.
How to get if you have just landed:
—From Arrivals Terminal 1. After collecting your luggage, continue until the space called ‘Plaça’. In one of the corners, you will see a branch office of bank La Caixa. From there, turn right and continue until the end of the Puente Aéreo (Air Shuttle) corridor. At the end of this, go through the automatic doors. On the right-hand side, you will find the entrance to the hotel.
—From Arrivals Terminal 2. Go outside and take the shuttle to Terminal 1 (runs every five minutes), to the Arrivals area/Puente Aéreo. Go up to the 2nd floor in Arrivals and walk to the Puente Aéreo (Air Shuttle) building. At the end of this, go through the automatic doors. On the right-hand side, you will find the entrance to the hotel.
